Jupiter Wagons Bags ₹264 Cr Orders From JSW Rail Logistics, CWC

Jupiter Wagons Ltd, a provider of mobility solutions for rail, road and marine transportation, has secured orders worth ₹264 crore from JSW (South) Rail Logistics Pvt. Ltd and the Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), strengthening its order book amid growing investments in rail-led logistics infrastructure.

The company has signed a Letter of Intent with JSW (South) Rail Logistics for the manufacture and supply of five BFNSM1 rakes along with BVCM wagons.

The order is valued at ₹123 crore and is scheduled for execution within seven months. Jupiter Wagons will also supply two BFNV wagons to JSW under an earlier requirement.

CWC Order details

Separately, CWC has awarded a contract worth ₹141 crore for the manufacture and supply of eight BLSS rakes comprising 32 BLSS-A wagons, 352 BLSS-B wagons and eight brake vans. The order is expected to be completed within one year from the date of the Letter of Award.

Together, the two contracts are valued at about ₹264.32 crore and underscore the increasing demand for specialised freight transportation solutions across industrial and logistics sectors.

“As India continues to invest in rail-led logistics, multimodal connectivity and freight infrastructure, we see sustained opportunities across both public and private sector customers. The demand for efficient, specialised and high-capacity rolling stock continues to grow,” he added.
