Ishan Technologies has appointed Saibal Roy as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), strengthening its leadership team as the ICT and digital infrastructure provider expands its digital infrastructure capabilities and sharpens its focus on operational excellence.
The company said Roy’s appointment marks an important step in supporting its next phase of growth, as it continues to deliver secure, scalable and AI-ready digital solutions for enterprises, government institutions and retail customers.
Brings over three decades of industry experience
Roy has more than three decades of experience across India’s ICT and telecommunications industry, having led large-scale businesses, developed go-to-market strategies and built high-performing teams across enterprise technology and telecom markets.
He spent nearly 14 years at Bharti Airtel, where he held leadership roles across government business, enterprise business and carrier wholesale, driving business growth across these segments.
Before joining Ishan Technologies, Roy served as India Vertical Head for Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution at ServiceNow India.
His career also includes leadership roles at Tata Communications, HFCL and Tulip Telecom, giving him extensive experience in enterprise connectivity, digital transformation and customer-centric business growth.
Roy holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and is an alumnus of ISB Hyderabad and INSEAD Fontainebleau.
