Renault India reported a strong sales performance in June 2026, with domestic wholesales rising 55% year-on-year to 4,063 units, driven by sustained demand across its product portfolio.
The company also recorded a 61% increase in domestic wholesales during the first half of 2026, selling 25,844 units compared with the corresponding period last year. The performance marks Renault India’s tenth consecutive month of double-digit monthly sales growth.
Double-digit growth momentum continues
Renault India said the consistent growth reflects increasing customer acceptance of its evolving product strategy and rising demand across its range of passenger vehicles.
The company’s strong first-half performance underscores its continued recovery in the Indian passenger vehicle market as it expands its product lineup and strengthens its market presence.
Renault begins exports of new Duster
In another key milestone, Renault India commenced exports of new Duster during June. The company dispatched its first shipment of 750 units of the SUV to South Africa, marking the beginning of international exports of the latest-generation Duster from India.
The export programme further strengthens India’s role as a manufacturing and export hub for Renault Group while expanding the company’s global supply chain.
Focus on growth and global markets
Renault India said the combination of robust domestic demand and the commencement of Duster exports reflects the success of its evolving business strategy.
The company continues to focus on expanding its presence in India while leveraging its manufacturing capabilities to serve international markets, supporting Renault Group’s broader strategy of offering a competitive and increasingly electrified vehicle portfolio.
