Available from 10 PM to 5 AM, the initiative is designed to make late-night food ordering more affordable, convenient and reliable for India’s expanding night-shift workforce.
Available across 30 cities
The programme is being rolled out across 4,000 office locations and 30,000 restaurants in 30 major Indian cities. Customers can access curated meals, exclusive discounts and faster deliveries from leading restaurant brands, including Burger King, Domino’s Pizza, McDonald’s, KFC and Subway.
Swiggy has also introduced the ‘2AM Club’, a curated selection of restaurants that remain operational until at least 2 AM, ensuring dependable food availability during extended working hours.
Curated menu for late-night professionals
Late Night Eats features specially curated food categories under DeskEats, catering to different workplace needs during overnight shifts.
These include One-Handed Grabbies such as rolls and wraps, Healthy Nibbles including grain bowls and salads, Sip-tastic Fuel featuring coffee, tea and shakes, Stress Munchies comprising fries and bite-sized snacks, and Teamwork Bites with shareable options such as pizzas.
The offering covers workstation-friendly meals, quick snacks, beverages, desserts and group orders, enabling professionals to choose food that suits their work schedules.
Late-night office orders on the rise
According to Swiggy, nearly 25% of corporate employees across these office locations place food orders after 10 PM while working from their offices.
The company said late-night office food ordering has recorded double-digit growth in cities such as Bhubaneswar, Goa, Kochi, Lucknow, Visakhapatnam and Ahmedabad, indicating that India’s night economy is expanding beyond traditional metro markets.
Swiggy sees opportunity in evolving work culture
Swiggy Vice President, Food Strategy, Customer Experience & New Initiatives, Deepak Maloo, said today’s workplace is evolving rapidly as professionals increasingly work across global schedules and extended hours.
He said the company has observed year-on-year growth in office food orders placed after 10 PM, with the trend gaining momentum not only in metropolitan cities but also across corporate hubs in Tier-2 markets.
Maloo added that Late Night Eats has been designed to address these changing workplace habits through curated food choices, faster deliveries and better value. He said Swiggy plans to expand the programme further by onboarding more restaurant partners, increasing coverage across office hubs and introducing additional innovations tailored to India’s always-on workforce.
