Komaki Launches Electric Scooters With Metal Body Priced From ₹73,999

CW Bureau ·

Electric vehicle manufacturer Komaki has expanded its electric scooter portfolio with the launch of the MG Pro V and MG Pro+ models, featuring all-metal body construction and priced at ₹73,999 and ₹79,999, respectively.

The company said the new scooters aim to bring premium build quality to the affordable electric two-wheeler segment, where fibre body panels are more commonly used.

Focus on durability and everyday performance
Komaki said the MG Pro V and MG Pro+ have been designed for riders seeking durability, reliability and value without compromising on affordability.

The MG Pro V offers a claimed range of 90-100 km on a single charge, while the MG Pro+ delivers a claimed range of over 150 km. Both models are powered by a BLDC hub motor and LiFePO4 battery technology, which the company says provides longer battery life and lower maintenance requirements.

Feature-rich offering
The scooters come equipped with a range of convenience and safety features, including mobile app connectivity for battery health and range monitoring, front disc brakes, telescopic suspension, anti-theft lock, parking assist, a repair switch and a spacious riding platform.

The MG Pro+ also offers a larger boot space to cater to the storage needs of daily commuters.

Company sees premium features driving adoption
Komaki Electric Vehicles Co-founder Gunjan Malhotra said, “The electric two-wheeler market has grown rapidly, but affordability should never come at the cost of quality. With the MG Pro V and MG Pro+, we wanted to offer customers features that have traditionally been associated with more expensive vehicles.”

He added, “These include a strong metal body and safe, long-lasting LiFePO4 batteries with a longer lifespan than those found in many electric two-wheelers and ICE vehicles currently available in the market. This combination inspires confidence among customers. It also reflects our commitment to making premium build quality, dependable performance, and modern technology accessible to a much wider audience.”

Strengthening affordable EV portfolio
Komaki said the introduction of the MG Pro V and MG Pro+ reinforces its strategy of offering electric vehicles that combine durability, technology and affordability.

The company believes the launch sets a new benchmark in the mass-market electric scooter segment by making metal-body construction and premium features accessible at competitive price points.
