Pepperfry, India’s omnichannel furniture and home retailer and a subsidiary of TCC Concept Ltd, plans to open 35 new stores by the end of August as it steps up its retail expansion ahead of the festive season.
The expansion will strengthen Pepperfry’s presence across metros as well as Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, improving customer access and supporting business growth during one of the year’s strongest consumption periods.
The company said it remains on track to expand its retail footprint to more than 250 stores in the near term, in line with its long-term strategy of building one of India’s largest omnichannel furniture and home retail platforms.
Omnichannel strategy
Pepperfry said its growth strategy is anchored in its “One Funnel” philosophy, which integrates online and offline shopping experiences. Customers can discover products online, experience them at physical stores and complete purchases through their preferred channel.
The retailer continues to invest in store formats, product assortment, technology and customer experience to cater to changing consumer preferences.
First profitable quarter
The company also announced that the fourth quarter of FY26 marked the first profitable quarter in Pepperfry’s history.
According to the company, the milestone reflects improvements in operating efficiency, stronger business fundamentals and the scalability of its omnichannel business model, providing a foundation for its next phase of growth.
The expansion also aligns with the long-term strategy of TCC Concept Ltd to build technology-enabled consumer businesses through scalable omnichannel platforms, operational excellence and disciplined capital allocation.
Important milestone
Pepperfry Chief Business Officer Hussaine Kesury said the expansion ahead of the festive season represents another important milestone in the company’s growth journey.
“As we continue to strengthen our retail presence across India, we are making the Pepperfry experience more accessible while enhancing the integration between our digital and physical channels. Our stores are evolving into complete retail destinations with Sell from Store capabilities, an expanded home assortment and fresh collections from thousands of D2C brands that reflect how customers shop today, enabling customers to discover, experience and purchase seamlessly,” Kesury said.
Broader product portfolio
Pepperfry stores offer a wide range of products, including furniture, mattresses, home décor, kitchen and dining products, furnishings and modular solutions.
The company said it will continue investing in retail expansion, omnichannel capabilities, technology and customer experience to strengthen its leadership in India’s organised furniture and home retail market.
