Actian, the data and AI division of HCLSoftware, has expanded its enterprise data management portfolio by integrating the embedded analytics and reporting capabilities of Jaspersoft following HCLSoftware’s acquisition of the business.
The move combines data management, business intelligence (BI) and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities into a unified platform, enabling enterprises to transform data into operational reports, analytics and AI-driven insights.
Strengthening AI and business intelligence
Actian said the integration addresses the growing demand for trusted, AI-ready data while supporting organisations that continue to rely on business intelligence for operational reporting, compliance and informed decision-making.
The company plans to continue investing in Jaspersoft’s product roadmap with enhancements including AI-powered analytics, agentic business intelligence capabilities and deeper integration across Actian’s data management portfolio.
Embedded analytics for enterprises
Jaspersoft is widely used for creating pixel-perfect reports, interactive dashboards and advanced visualisations that are embedded within enterprise applications. These capabilities support recurring business processes such as regulatory compliance, financial reporting, performance monitoring and operational audits.
The platform currently serves around 1,000 enterprise, mid-market and small business customers worldwide across sectors including financial services, healthcare, government, manufacturing and technology.
Global partner network expands
The acquisition also adds Jaspersoft’s ecosystem of nearly 90 partners across 44 countries to Actian’s global network, strengthening local implementation, consulting and customer support capabilities.
The expanded partner ecosystem is expected to help enterprises accelerate deployments while providing region-specific expertise.

Actian Chief Executive Officer Marc Potter said organisations scaling AI initiatives require both trusted data and actionable insights to make better decisions.
