Hexaware Technologies has appointed Srinivasan Panchapakesan as President and Chief Platform Officer, a newly created role, with immediate effect.
The appointment is aimed at strengthening the company’s platform-led strategy as enterprises increasingly adopt artificial intelligence (AI) for production-scale business applications.
Platform strategy
Srinivasan will lead the development, integration and scaling of Hexaware’s platform portfolio, including Amaze for cloud modernisation, RapidX for AI-accelerated software engineering, Tensai for agentic IT operations and Agentverse for enterprise AI agents.
He will also oversee the roadmap, governance and enterprise-wide adoption of the unified platform portfolio, while expanding the company’s collaboration with AI ecosystem partners across the AI-native software development lifecycle.
Consolidating AI platforms
Hexaware said the move is intended to consolidate its AI platforms on a common foundation, enabling customers to adopt integrated AI-native services instead of standalone products.
The platforms will operate as a connected ecosystem across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud environments.
Industry veteran
Srinivasan brings more than 35 years of industry experience, including over 27 years with Hexaware.
He has held leadership roles across platform engineering, delivery and large programme execution, and was among the key architects behind Amaze and RapidX, which form the foundation of the company’s platform-led services strategy.

Srinivasan Panchapakesan said enterprises are increasingly looking to move AI beyond pilot projects into production environments.
