India Nippon Electricals Ltd. (INEL) has outlined a multi-year strategy centred on expanding its electronics and electric vehicle (EV) business, strengthening exports and improving operational efficiency.
INEL’s strategic roadmap is built around five priorities — strengthening its leadership in core products, accelerating growth in electronics and EV-related technologies, expanding exports and the aftermarket business, improving operational excellence through automation and digitalisation, and building future-ready organisational capabilities.
Technology roadmap
The automotive components maker would focus on increasing the share of electronics products in its revenue mix while expanding its presence across automotive, non-automotive and global markets.
The company will continue to invest in automation, advanced sensors, displays, integrated controllers, power electronics, EV systems and intelligent mobility solutions to strengthen its technology capabilities and create long-term value.
Engineering excellence
Innovation and engineering excellence will remain central to the company’s growth strategy, said Managing Director Arvind Balaji in his letter to shareholders.
During the year, INEL secured patents for EV applications and continued to align its technology roadmap with future mobility requirements.
Growth outlook
Balaji said the company enters FY27 with confidence despite geopolitical uncertainties, commodity price volatility and the impact of upcoming labour code reforms.
He said INEL has strengthened its resilience through execution excellence and cost optimisation initiatives, including Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE).
INEL is also exploring global technology partnerships to accelerate product development, improve access to emerging technologies and support its long-term growth strategy.
