Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has strengthened its after-sales network by inaugurating its 6,000th service touchpoint in the country, reinforcing its strategy of bringing quality service closer to customers as its vehicle parc continues to grow.

The new workshop, located on Koya Road in Kozhikode, has been developed on an area of 1,820 square metres and features two service bays and three body repair bays, with provision for future expansion.

The facility is also equipped with electric vehicle servicing and charging infrastructure, reflecting the company’s preparations for the growing adoption of electric mobility.

Expansion gathers pace
Maruti Suzuki said the addition of the latest 1,000 service touchpoints has been achieved in around two years, underlining the rapid expansion of its nationwide after-sales network.

In FY2025-26, the company opened a record 502 service touchpoints and serviced more than 2.84 crore vehicles, the highest number handled in a single financial year in its history.

Looking ahead, the company plans to add around 500 new service touchpoints during FY2026-27 to further improve customer accessibility and service convenience.

Digital tools enhance ownership experience
Maruti Suzuki continues to complement its physical network with digital after-sales solutions aimed at improving the ownership experience.

Customers have access to services through the Maruti Suzuki App and S-Assist, an AI-powered virtual assistant that provides round-the-clock troubleshooting support and access to connected vehicle features.

The company has also introduced the Vehicle Health Card, which offers customers an easy-to-understand assessment of their vehicle’s condition after servicing. In addition, its ‘Factful Friday’ initiative provides educational videos on vehicle maintenance and product features.

Maruti Suzuki’s after-sales ecosystem includes ARENA and NEXA workshops, Maruti Suzuki Sales and Service Points (MSSSP), rural workshops, Service-on-Wheels and authorised service stations.

High-quality after-sales service is key
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd Managing Director & CEO, Hisashi Takeuchi said high-quality after-sales service is as important as the product itself in delivering a superior ownership experience.

He said the inauguration of the company’s 6,000th service touchpoint reflects its commitment to expanding customer convenience and acknowledged the contribution of dealer partners and service teams in accelerating network expansion. Takeuchi added that Maruti Suzuki will continue to strengthen its service footprint by adding around 500 new service touchpoints across the country during FY2026-27.
