CW Bureau ·

Tata Motors has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with UCO Bank to offer financing solutions for commercial vehicle customers across India, strengthening access to organised credit for fleet operators, entrepreneurs and businesses.

The partnership combines Tata Motors’ extensive commercial vehicle portfolio with UCO Bank’s nationwide branch network to make commercial vehicle ownership more affordable through competitive financing options.

Customer-focused financing
Under the agreement, customers will have access to attractive interest rates, faster loan approvals and simplified documentation to streamline vehicle purchases.

The financing programme will also offer higher loan-to-value funding, reducing upfront capital requirements for buyers, along with flexible repayment tenures tailored to the cash flow cycles of transport operators and businesses.

Both organisations will collaborate through UCO Bank branches and Tata Motors dealerships to extend financing support across the country, including underserved urban and rural markets.

Supporting business growth
UCO Bank General Manager and Zonal Head,  Mumbai, Shashikant Kumar said the partnership reflects the bank’s focus on expanding customer-centric financing solutions.

“The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding with Tata Motors marks another significant milestone in UCO Bank’s commitment to delivering innovative and customer-centric financing solutions. Through this strategic partnership, we aim to provide seamless, competitive and timely financing for Tata Motors commercial vehicles, enabling entrepreneurs, fleet operators and businesses to expand with confidence,” he said.

Strengthening the financing ecosystem
Tata Motors Vice President and Business Head, Trucks Rajesh Kaul said access to organised financing remains a critical factor in the growth of commercial vehicle customers.

“We are pleased to partner with UCO Bank to further strengthen the financing ecosystem for our commercial vehicle customers. Access to organised and competitive financing is a key enabler for our customers’ growth, and UCO Bank’s strong nationwide presence makes them an ideal partner in this endeavour,” he said.

He added that the collaboration reinforces Tata Motors’ strategy of offering end-to-end transportation solutions by combining commercial vehicles with accessible financing.

Comprehensive commercial vehicle portfolio
Tata Motors offers one of India’s broadest commercial vehicle portfolios, ranging from sub-one-tonne cargo vehicles to 55-tonne trucks, alongside buses and mass mobility solutions with seating capacities from 10 to 51 passengers.

The company complements its vehicles with lifecycle management services under its Sampoorna Seva 2.0 initiative, while its Fleet Edge connected vehicle platform enables fleet operators to monitor vehicle performance, maximise uptime and reduce operating costs.

Tata Motors also supports customers through a nationwide network of more than 4,500 sales and service touchpoints.
