The order covers planning, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the 4G mobile network on a turnkey basis across 7,613 sites.

Expansion project

The project is part of BSNL’s ongoing Atmanirbhar Bharat telecom initiative to deploy indigenous 4G telecom equipment across the country.

ITI, along with consortium partner Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), had earlier executed a turnkey project worth ₹2,640 crore for BSNL’s Phase IX.2 4G rollout in the West Zone.

Expansion order

Following the successful completion of that assignment, BSNL has now awarded ITI the new work order for expansion of the 4G mobile network in the West Zone.
