Delta Electronics India has proposed setting up a state-of-the-art engineering, testing and validation centre focused on AI data centres, renewable energy and microgrid solutions at its existing manufacturing campus in Krishnagiri, reinforcing its long-term commitment to Tamil Nadu.
The proposal was discussed during a meeting between Delta Electronics India President Benjamin Lin and Managing Director Niranjan Nayak with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, where the company thanked the state government for its continued support for its operations.
ARIVAM centre proposed
Delta said the proposed greenfield facility, named ARIVAM will be established within its existing Krishnagiri campus.
ARIVAM stands for AI Data Center, Renewables, Integrated Micro Grid Solutions, Validated Engineering and Management Center.
The centre will focus on the design, engineering, manufacturing, testing and lifecycle management of sustainable AI data centres, renewable energy systems and integrated microgrid solutions.
The initiative is expected to strengthen Delta’s engineering capabilities while supporting India’s growing demand for AI infrastructure and clean energy technologies.
Seeks partnership with Tamil Nadu
During the meeting, Delta proposed collaborating with the Tamil Nadu Government in areas including energy infrastructure and energy storage, AI data centre infrastructure, smart manufacturing and industrial automation.
The company also thanked the state government for its long-standing support, while the Chief Minister assured continued assistance for Delta’s future investments under the new government.
Expansion at Krishnagiri
Delta already operates a large manufacturing facility at Krishnagiri and is planning an expansion as part of its long-term growth strategy in Tamil Nadu.
The proposed initiatives build on the company’s highly automated Krishnagiri campus, which serves as a demonstration and learning centre for Industry 4.0 technologies and advanced manufacturing practices.
The facility also reflects Delta’s focus on environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives, including water stewardship, carbon reduction and sustainable manufacturing.
