TVS Motor Company, part of TVS Venu, has expanded its international footprint with the launch of Raider in Egypt, strengthening its presence in North Africa and broadening its premium commuter motorcycle portfolio in the region.
The launch, held at the Hilton Pyramids Golf in Cairo, brought together the company’s distributor partner, dealer network, media, influencers, financial partners and other stakeholders as TVS introduced one of its best-selling premium commuter motorcycles to Egyptian customers.
Egypt key to North Africa strategy
The company said the launch marks an important milestone in its strategy to strengthen its position in North Africa, with Egypt serving as a key gateway to the region.
The TVS Raider targets young urban riders with a combination of sporty styling, advanced technology and rider-focused features.

Performance-oriented package
The TVS Raider is powered by a 124.76cc air-and-oil-cooled three-valve engine producing 12.9 PS at 8,000 rpm and 11.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, paired with a five-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle features telescopic front suspension, a gas-charged five-step adjustable monoshock rear suspension, a 240 mm front disc brake with SBT, and tubeless tyres measuring 80/100-17 at the front and 100/90-17 at the rear.
TVS said the package is designed to offer a balance of performance, comfort and agile handling, making it well suited for urban commuting.
