Suzlon Ltd has secured a 201.6 MW wind energy order from Waaree Forever Energies Pvt Ltd, the Independent Power Producer (IPP) arm of Waaree Group, for a project in Andhra Pradesh.
The project marks Waaree Group’s maiden wind power venture and will be executed under Suzlon’s DevCo model.
Project scope
Suzlon will install 64 S144 wind turbine generators, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW, at the project site in Andhra Pradesh.
The company will provide end-to-end EPC services, including land acquisition, turbine supply, Balance of Plant, commissioning and lifetime operations and maintenance.
Renewable energy partnership

Suzlon said the partnership brings together two renewable energy companies with established manufacturing capabilities in wind and solar power.
Growing order momentum
“This is our second consecutive DevCo-led EPC order within a week, which reinforces growing demand for partners like us who can de-risk execution and deliver at scale,” said Suzlon Group Chief Executive Officer Ajay Kapur.
