Packaged foods maker Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd plans to strengthen its leadership in the foodservice segment while expanding its consumer-focused brands Tasty Bite Xclusive and Cheffin as part of its long-term growth strategy, Managing Director Dilen Gandh said in his message to shareholders in the company’s Annual Report 2026.
The company also intends to deepen its innovation pipeline to address changing consumer preferences driven by rising demand for convenience, authentic flavours and premium food experiences.
Focus on sustainable growth
Gandh said Tasty Bite’s growth strategy will continue to be anchored on three pillars, a clear strategic direction, agility in execution and sustained investments in opportunities that can generate long-term value.
He noted that the food industry is undergoing a significant transformation as changing lifestyles and evolving consumer expectations create fresh opportunities for companies capable of combining culinary expertise, innovation and operational excellence at scale.
“We will continue to strengthen our foodservice leadership, expand the reach of Tasty Bite Xclusive, scale Cheffin across digital channels and deepen our innovation pipeline to address evolving customer and consumer needs,” he said.
Innovation drives product expansion
The company expanded its product portfolio across both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) segments during the year.
Among the key launches was Street Food Noodles under the Mars brand, which emerged as one of the company’s best-performing products. Tasty Bite also introduced a range of gravies for the hospitality (HoReCa) and distribution segments, broadening its offerings for institutional customers.
In the consumer business, Cheffin introduced chef-crafted three-pouch meal kits comprising a base, gravy and spice mix, allowing consumers to recreate restaurant-style dishes at home with greater convenience and authentic flavour.
Gandh said the company’s innovation philosophy is guided by customer needs rather than product proliferation.
“Innovation creates value only when it is rooted in a genuine understanding of what our customers and consumers need,” he said.
Cheffin expands digital footprint
Tasty Bite is increasingly focusing on the consumer segment through Cheffin, its ready-to-cook brand aimed at customers looking for premium restaurant-style meals at home.
The company said its presence on Amazon has generated valuable consumer insights, helping refine both product offerings and its go-to-market strategy.
Building on these learnings, Cheffin has also expanded into the quick-commerce channel through Zepto, enabling faster delivery and wider consumer access.
Although the brand remains in its early growth phase, Gandh said the company is encouraged by its progress and remains confident about Cheffin’s long-term potential.
Riding changing consumer trends
Tasty Bite believes shifting consumer lifestyles, greater preference for convenience foods and increasing demand for authentic culinary experiences will continue to create attractive growth opportunities.
The company plans to leverage its expertise in product innovation and digital distribution while strengthening both its institutional and retail businesses to capitalise on these evolving market trends.
