KONE Elevator India has expanded its Bengaluru Branch and South Regional Office in Hebbal, reinforcing its focus on Karnataka as demand for smart vertical mobility solutions rises alongside the state’s booming residential, commercial and Global Capability Centre (GCC) developments.
The expanded facility will serve as KONE’s operational hub for Karnataka while also functioning as the South Regional Office, overseeing sales, installation, service and modernization operations across the state and providing leadership for the company’s business in South India.
The move comes as Karnataka, led by Bengaluru, continues to attract investments in information technology, manufacturing, healthcare and mixed-use developments, creating sustained demand for elevators, escalators and digitally connected building mobility solutions.
Experience centre for customers
Apart from supporting operations across Bengaluru and cities such as Mysuru, Mandya, Kolar, Tumakuru and Chamarajanagar, the new office will house an experience centre showcasing KONE’s latest elevator technologies, digital solutions and smart People Flow® innovations.
The expanded presence is expected to improve customer response times, strengthen lifecycle maintenance services and enable closer collaboration with developers and enterprises executing large-scale projects across the region.
Strong project portfolio
KONE has built a significant portfolio in Karnataka, supplying mobility solutions for a wide range of residential, commercial, healthcare and technology park developments.
Its customers in the state include ITC Green Centre, IKEA, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), ITPL, Embassy Group, Titanium Tech Park, Sattva Group, Karle Group, Sobha Group, Prestige Group, Shriram Properties, GE HealthCare, Carl Zeiss, Wistron and several other leading developers and enterprises.
Karnataka remains strategic market
KONE Elevator India, Managing Director, Amit Gossain, said Karnataka remains one of the company’s most strategic growth markets, driven by rapid urbanisation, expanding technology ecosystems and rising investments across real estate and infrastructure.
He said the expanded Bengaluru office would enable the company to serve customers more efficiently through faster response times, stronger lifecycle support and closer regional collaboration, while also creating skilled employment opportunities and contributing to the development of smarter and more sustainable cities.
