State-owned IndianOil has launched Indane XTRALITE NOW, a new 10 kg composite LPG cylinder backed by an express delivery service that promises delivery within four hours of booking, as the company looks to redefine the domestic cooking gas experience for urban consumers.

The new offering, unveiled by IndianOil Chairman A. S. Sahney, combines lightweight composite cylinder technology with a digitally enabled service ecosystem aimed at improving convenience, safety and transparency for customers.

Alongside the launch, the company also introduced a four-hour express home delivery service for its popular 5 kg Chhotu LPG cylinder, expanding quick-delivery options for smaller households, professionals and urban consumers.

Smarter LPG experience
The Indane XTRALITE NOW cylinder features a lightweight, rust-free composite design with a translucent body that allows consumers to monitor LPG levels easily.

Customers will also have access to preferred time-slot delivery, minimal documentation for new connections and a digitally enabled booking experience.

Initially, the service will be available in Pune, Gurugram, Indore and Coimbatore, before expanding to 25 more cities by mid-August 2026 and major cities across India by the end of October.

Customer-centric innovation
IndianOil Chairman A. S. Sahney said the initiative reflects the company’s focus on enhancing customer experience through innovation.

“Innovation is meaningful only when it enriches the lives of our customers. Indane XTRALITE NOW combines advanced composite cylinder technology with a seamless and enhanced service model to offer a smarter, safer and more convenient LPG experience.”

He said the launch reinforces IndianOil’s commitment to delivering future-ready energy solutions while setting new benchmarks in customer service.

Focus on speed and convenience
IndianOil Director (Marketing) Saumitra P. Srivastava said consumers increasingly expect faster and more seamless services.

“Consumers today expect speed, convenience and a seamless experience. Indane XTRALITE NOW reflects IndianOil’s customer-centric approach by combining innovative technology with swift, reliable delivery.”

Digital booking ecosystem
Customers can register for new LPG connections and book refills through the IndianOil ONE App and the IndianOil Customer portal. A WhatsApp booking facility will also be introduced shortly.

The new cylinders will be available through IndianOil’s extensive Indane distributor network and select IndianOil retail outlets.

Strengthening LPG leadership
IndianOil said the launch of Indane XTRALITE NOW, along with express delivery for the 5 kg Chhotu cylinder, is aimed at strengthening its leadership in India’s LPG market by offering differentiated solutions tailored for urban households, professionals, residential communities and customers seeking greater convenience.

The company said the initiative is part of its broader strategy to leverage digital technologies and innovation to provide smarter, safer and more customer-centric energy solutions.
