Thomas Cook (India) Ltd, an omnichannel travel services company, and SOTC Travel have expanded their international holiday portfolio with premium rail journeys across South Africa, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Egypt, catering to the growing demand for experiential luxury travel.
The companies have been offering rail holidays for Indian travellers through long-standing partnerships, including Swiss-Euro Rail and Spain’s Renfe.
Building on the success of these offerings, they have now added some of the world’s most iconic train journeys to their portfolio.

To ensure availability on these high-demand routes, Thomas Cook India and SOTC have secured seats and cabins on premium trains, offering them as fully curated land-and-rail holiday packages.
Packages start from ₹4.5 lakh per person, depending on the itinerary and travel period.

The expanded portfolio includes Rovos Rail in South Africa, Rocky Mountaineer in Canada, The Ghan in Australia, Coastal Pacific and TranzAlpine in New Zealand, and Egypt’s overnight sleeper train.
Featured itineraries include Rovos Royale (11 nights/12 days), Rainforest to Gold Rush Discovery Banff (9 nights/10 days), The Ghan Expedition (9 nights/10 days), New Zealand Odyssey – Self Drive Edition (13 nights/14 days) for the 2027 travel season, and Explore Egypt (6 nights/7 days).
