The company has signed Lemon Tree Hotel, Siddharthanagar in Nepal and Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. Both properties will be managed by Carnation Hotels Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels.
The Nepal signing takes the company’s portfolio in the country to eight properties, including five operational hotels and three upcoming projects. The 120-room Lemon Tree Hotel in Siddharthanagar is strategically located in Rupandehi district, close to Lumbini, one of the world’s most significant Buddhist pilgrimage destinations, and the India-Nepal border.
The hotel will feature a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting and conference facilities, bar lounge, swimming pool, spa and fitness centre. It is located around 2 km from Bhairahawa Airport and enjoys road connectivity to major cities in both Nepal and India.
Strengthening Andhra Pradesh presence

The upcoming Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels will offer 70 rooms along with a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting facilities, spa and fitness centre. The property is positioned to cater to the city’s growing commercial activity and improving connectivity. It is located about 19 km from Vijayawada Airport and 1.5 km from Vijayawada Railway Station.
Growth strategy
Lemon Tree Hotels President Vishvapreet Singh Cheema said the company remains focused on scaling up in markets with long-term growth potential.
He said Andhra Pradesh and Nepal are both strategic markets for the company, with the Vijayawada addition reflecting confidence in the city’s commercial importance, while the Siddharthanagar property strengthens its presence near Lumbini and the India-Nepal border.
With the latest signings, Lemon Tree Hotels continues to pursue a balanced expansion strategy by strengthening its presence in established Indian markets while steadily growing its international footprint in Nepal.
