Procter & Gamble Health Ltd reported a 45% year-on-year jump in profit after tax (PAT) to ₹96 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, supported by steady sales growth, improved operational capabilities and one-time proceeds from the sale of an immovable asset.
The company posted sales of ₹356 crore during the quarter, up 7% from the corresponding period last year. The growth was driven by strong brand fundamentals, superior retail execution and positive consumer response to new product innovations.
Sales momentum continues
The company said its robust bottom-line performance was aided by higher sales, strengthened supply chain and go-to-market capabilities, along with the one-time gain from the sale of an immovable asset.
Procter & Gamble Health Ltd Managing Director Milind Thatte said the company had started FY27 on a strong note, building on the growth momentum achieved in the previous financial year.
“We delivered a strong quarter with sustained top-line and bottom-line growth. This growth is enabled by the consumer response to our science-backed superior innovations, new consumer communication initiatives and strengthened go-to-market and supply chain capabilities,” he said.
Focus on innovation and productivity
Thatte said the company’s strategy continues to focus on a portfolio of trusted and science-backed brands, supported by product superiority, stronger brand communication, retail execution and productivity improvements.
He added that P&G Health remains committed to delivering balanced growth and creating long-term value for stakeholders through constructive disruption and an agile, accountable organisation.
