Murugappa group firm CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd’s subsidiary Axiro Semiconductor Pvt Ltd will acquire 100% of Tosil Systems Pvt Ltd for a cash consideration of ₹16.44 crore.
The acquisition will add Tosil’s semiconductor design and embedded engineering capabilities to CG Power’s existing semiconductor business.
Acquisition to strengthen design capabilities
Tosil provides silicon design, verification and physical implementation, embedded software, Linux BSP development and Edge AI engineering services to global semiconductor and electronics OEMs.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen CG Power’s semiconductor design capabilities by adding embedded, silicon and application engineering services.
Deal targeted by August-end
Axiro will acquire five lakh equity shares representing 100% of Tosil for ₹16.44 crore. The transaction is proposed to be completed by August 31, 2026.
The acquisition is being undertaken on an arm’s-length basis and does not constitute a related-party transaction. The sellers are unrelated individual shareholders of Tosil.
