LG Electronics India Ltd (LGEIL) has won multiple honours at the DIGIT India’s Top Appliance Awards 2026, with around 10 of its products recognised for innovation across major home appliance categories.
The winning products span air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, televisions, dishwashers and microwave ovens.
Products tested on 150 parameters
The awards, an initiative of Times Network and presented by digit.in, use a data-driven evaluation process to assess home appliance innovation.
Nominated products are tested at DIGIT’s laboratories in Mumbai and Noida across more than 150 technical parameters, covering areas from thermal imaging diagnostics to the customer support cycle.
Independent jury validates results
The technical scores are reviewed by an independent expert jury panel. The awards cover more than 36 appliance categories and are supported by DIGIT’s editorial ecosystem.
“This recognition from DIGIT India’s Top Appliance Awards reaffirms our commitment to bringing globally advanced, India-first innovation to every Indian household,” said LGEIL Managing Director Hong Ju Jeon.
Focus on India-specific innovation
He said the lab-driven evaluation and independent jury validation reinforced the reliability and performance expected from LG Electronics products.
The winning range reflects the company’s focus on combining global technology with products tailored to Indian households, including convertible cooling, inverter-compatible refrigeration and washing cycles designed for local water conditions.
