Omega Seiki Mobility Taps AI To Put EV Battery Health Under The Lens

Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has entered into a strategic partnership with ELECTRA AI to integrate advanced battery health intelligence across its electric vehicle ecosystem, as the company seeks to improve battery performance, vehicle uptime and the residual value of EVs.

The collaboration will enable OSM to deploy real-time battery monitoring, predictive analytics and State of Health (SoH) insights across its fleet.

The technology is expected to provide greater visibility into battery condition and performance for customers, financiers, retailers and fleet operators, while supporting proactive maintenance and more effective warranty management.

Battery health gains importance
As electric mobility adoption expands, battery reliability is emerging as a critical factor influencing vehicle uptime, financing decisions and the total cost of ownership.

OSM will use ELECTRA AI’s battery intelligence platform to gain deeper insights into battery performance. The data is expected to support proactive maintenance, improve warranty management and contribute to data-driven product development.

Omega Seiki Mobility, Founder & Chairman, Uday Narang, said battery health will play a critical role in developing a credible secondary market for electric vehicles.

“Battery health is the single biggest determinant of an EV’s residual value, and until that can be measured transparently, the used EV market will remain constrained.”

According to Narang, greater transparency around battery performance could help buyers, financiers and fleet operators make more informed decisions, while potentially improving resale values and access to financing.

The partnership also aims to provide OSM with deeper operational insights into its electric vehicle fleet.

Omega Seiki Mobility, Chief Strategy Officer, Vivek Dhawan, said the industry needs to move beyond vehicle sales and focus on intelligence that improves asset performance throughout its lifecycle.

The integration of advanced analytics is expected to help OSM improve fleet productivity, reduce unplanned downtime and strengthen warranty management.

The company also expects the data generated through the platform to support product development and help build a more technology-led mobility ecosystem.

For ELECTRA AI, the partnership underscores the growing importance of battery intelligence as EV manufacturers seek to provide greater assurance around vehicle performance and ownership economics.

ELECTRA AI, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Fabrizio Martini, said the company’s AI Brain for Batteries platform is designed to provide vehicle manufacturers with real-world battery intelligence.

The platform can help manufacturers improve vehicle design, provide greater assurance to customers and keep commercial EV fleets operational, according to Martini.
