India Yamaha Motor has refreshed its popular 125cc Fi Hybrid scooter range with new colours, updated graphics and technology enhancements, targeting young and style-conscious customers seeking a combination of performance, convenience and connectivity.
The refresh covers the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, with Yamaha seeking to strengthen the appeal of its scooters in the competitive 125cc segment.
The RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid gets new paint finishes and updated graphics aimed at accentuating its sporty and youthful character. The RayZR Street Rally variant is now available with a Colour TFT Instrument Cluster with Turn-by-Turn (TBT) Navigation, enhancing its connected-riding capabilities.
The Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid also receives new colour options and contemporary design elements, reinforcing its premium positioning and unisex appeal.
Hybrid technology across the range
Both scooters are powered by Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) Hybrid Technology, supported by Enhanced Power Assist, Silent Start System and Stop & Start System (SSS).
The combination is designed to improve fuel efficiency and provide smoother performance in everyday riding conditions.
Other features across the range include telescopic suspension, 21-litre under-seat storage, side-stand engine cut-off, E20 fuel compatibility and smartphone connectivity.
The Fascino S and RayZR Street Rally variants additionally feature a Colour TFT display with Turn-by-Turn Navigation and Answer Back functionality.
Targeting India’s style-conscious scooter market
The latest refresh comes as scooter buyers increasingly look for a combination of styling, practicality, connectivity and efficiency rather than basic urban mobility alone.
Yamaha is positioning the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid toward riders seeking a more bold and sporty character, while the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid is aimed at customers looking for a more fashionable and versatile design.
The addition of TFT instrumentation and navigation to selected variants also signals Yamaha’s effort to bring more connected features into the mainstream 125cc scooter segment.
With new colour choices, styling updates and technology enhancements, Yamaha is seeking to keep its RayZR and Fascino portfolios relevant to a younger generation of Indian two-wheeler buyers.
