Enterprise aviation software provider Ramco Systems Corporation, USA (RSC), a subsidiary of Ramco Systems Ltd, has secured a strategic partnership with Pem-Air. Under the agreement, the FAA- and EASA-certified engine MRO services and accessory repair provider will deploy Ramco Aviation Software as Pem-Air’s core digital foundation.
Pem-Air is rapidly scaling its operations, expanding support for heavy engine platforms like the GE90 and Trent 700, alongside next-generation powerplants including the CFM LEAP. Ramco’s platform will manage operations across this broader engine portfolio, providing Pem-Air with an integrated framework to meet evolving fleet requirements.
Comprehensive integration and mobile enablement
The software suite spans key operational functions, including Maintenance Planning, Engine Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality & Compliance, Engineering, and Finance. By integrating these modules into a single system, the platform establishes continuous connectivity across every phase of an engine shop visit.
Additionally, Pem-Air technicians will utilize ‘Ramco Anywhere’ mobile applications featuring digital task cards and electronic sign-offs. This transition moves the Brooksville, Florida-based MRO facility closer to fully paperless operations while streamlining shop-floor workflows.
AI-driven capabilities and decision support
Beyond core operations, the platform integrates advanced functionality for Contracting, Work Scoping, Marshalling, and Technical Publications, paired with automated resource optimization to improve staffing efficiency. The deployment also introduces several artificial intelligence capabilities designed to enhance decision-making.
Among these tools is Ramco’s AI-powered Service Bulletin Agent, which processes unstructured data from Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives to generate Engineering Orders. Technicians will also utilize Generative AI assistants to review real-time status updates and receive system-recommended corrective actions based on historical maintenance resolutions.
