Jewellery retailer Thangamayil Jewellery has expanded its presence in Chennai with the opening of two new showrooms in Mogappair West and Purasaiwakkam, taking its operational network to more than 66 stores across Tamil Nadu.
The new stores were inaugurated on August 23, 2026, by the management of Thangamayil Jewellery in the presence of company officials and customers. The company has also introduced special offers to mark the openings.
The Mogappair West showroom, located at Plot No. 4/5, TNHB, 8th Block, Mogappair West, Nolambur, spans 6,270 sq ft. The Purasaiwakkam showroom, located at No. 138 (Old No. 228), Purasaiwakkam High Road, covers 8,746 sq ft.
Both outlets have been designed to provide customers with a modern and immersive jewellery shopping experience.
Strengthening Chennai presence
The new showrooms witnessed a strong customer response, with jewellery shoppers, families and well-wishers visiting the outlets during the launch.
The stores offer a range of gold, diamond and silver jewellery, catering to customers across bridal jewellery, festive purchases, everyday wear, gifting and special occasions.
