PVR INOX has announced the opening of its 28th cinema property in Bengaluru, located at Brigade Cornerstone Utopia on Varthur Road near Whitefield. The new six-screen multiplex accommodates up to 949 moviegoers and is strategically positioned inside Arcadia at Brigade Cornerstone Utopia, an integrated residential and lifestyle development. By establishing a presence in the fast-evolving Whitefield–Varthur Road catchment, PVR INOX aims to serve as a primary entertainment anchor for the surrounding residential and commercial communities.
Advanced visual and acoustic technology
To deliver an upgraded cinematic presentation, all six screens at the new facility feature next-generation technology, including all-laser projection, Dolby 7.1 surround sound, and Next-Gen 3D capability. Furthermore, two of the auditoriums are fitted with DTSX immersive sound, offering an expansive audio format for major blockbuster releases. The cinema opened its doors featuring the highly anticipated film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, starring Yash.
Elevated comfort and the new cinema food court concept
The multiplex design centers around a hospitality-led approach, incorporating Celebrity Recliners and Lounger Seats to provide varied seating options and enhanced guest comfort. Beyond the auditoriums, the venue introduces PVR INOX’s new Cinema Food Court concept. Designed to integrate food, beverage, and social gathering spaces into the core moviegoing visit, the concept allows audiences to meet, dine, and relax before or after screenings.
