Funskool Renews Handycrafts Range With New Creative Kits For Children

CW Bureau ·

Funskool India, the toy manufacturer promoted by MRF Ltd, has refreshed its Handycrafts arts and crafts range with a new generation of creative activity kits aimed at making art, exploration and skill-building more accessible to children.

The revamped range has been developed through multiple stages of testing and refinement, with improved components designed to be easier for children to handle and use. The focus is on reducing the difficulty of the activity and giving children greater freedom to create.

The latest additions include Sand Art and Mini Canvas Art, designed for children aged five years and above. The kits encourage children to experiment with colours, textures and different artistic techniques while creating their own artwork.

New themes expand creative choices
The Sand Art range is available across themes including Food Treats, Animals, and Princess & Unicorn.

The Mini Canvas Art range features Princess & Unicorn, Space Adventure, and Aqua Animals themes, allowing children to choose subjects based on their interests.

Funskool said the revamped products are designed to offer a balance between guided activities and creative freedom, enabling children to develop skills while enjoying the process of making something of their own.

Compact packaging cuts material use
The Handycrafts range also comes with a more compact packaging design aimed at using materials and space more efficiently across storage, transportation and retail.

The packaging redesign forms part of Funskool’s effort to make more conscious product and packaging choices while reducing unnecessary material usage.

The company said the range remains focused on delivering quality creative experiences at accessible price points, with the aim of ensuring that opportunities to explore, create and learn new skills are not limited by affordability.

Funskool India CEO K A Shabir said, “Every child is creative. Sometimes, all they need is the right starting point. With the renewed Handycrafts range, we have focused on making creative activities easier to engage with, while ensuring children can experiment, learn and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something on their own.”

The revamped Handycrafts range marks the beginning of a broader portfolio, with Funskool planning to introduce more skill-based, theme-led and utility-focused creative experiences in the future.
