CW Bureau ·

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) sold 32,842 units in August 2026, comprising 28,410 units in the domestic market and 4,432 units through exports, the company said.

TKM has maintained a strong growth trajectory in calendar year 2026, with cumulative sales reaching 2,66,696 units, marking an overall growth of 10%.

Domestic, export markets gain
The growth has been supported by performance across both domestic and export markets. Domestic sales during CY2026 stood at 2,44,592 units, registering 11% growth, while exports rose 2% to 22,104 units.

The company’s domestic market therefore continues to be the primary driver of its overall volume growth, contributing more than 90% of its cumulative CY2026 sales.

Customer-centric innovations
Toyota Kirloskar Motor Executive Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, Sabari Manohar said, “We will continue to remain focused on listening to our customers and responding to their evolving needs through customer-centric innovations and differentiated product experiences. As we look ahead, we remain positive about the opportunities presented by the upcoming festive season.”

With cumulative sales growth remaining in double digits and domestic volumes expanding at a faster pace than exports, TKM enters the upcoming festive season with continued momentum in the Indian market.

The company said its focus will remain on customer-centric innovations and differentiated product experiences as it responds to evolving customer needs.
