TVS Motor Company, part of TVS Venu, reported a 21% year-on-year growth in overall sales at 6,16,540 units in August 2026, compared with 5,09,536 units in the corresponding month last year.
The company’s performance was supported by strong growth across two-wheelers, electric vehicles, international markets and three-wheelers.
Two-wheeler sales gain 21%
TVS Motor’s total two-wheeler sales rose 21% to 5,91,437 units in August 2026 from 4,90,788 units a year earlier.
Domestic two-wheeler sales grew 18% to 4,33,796 units, compared with 3,68,862 units in August 2025.
EV sales surge 137%
The company’s electric two-wheeler business continued its rapid growth, with sales soaring 137% to 59,453 units in August 2026 from 25,138 units in the same month last year.
The sharp increase highlights the accelerating adoption of TVS Motor’s electric two-wheeler portfolio and the company’s expanding presence in the EV segment.
International business grows 29%
TVS Motor’s total international business registered 29% growth, with sales increasing to 1,74,452 units in August 2026 from 1,35,367 units in August 2025.
International two-wheeler sales also rose 29% to 1,57,641 units, compared with 1,21,926 units a year earlier.
Three-wheeler sales rise 34%
The company’s three-wheeler business recorded 34% growth, with sales increasing to 25,103 units in August 2026 from 18,748 units in August 2025.
The broad-based growth across its domestic, international and electric mobility businesses gives TVS Motor a strong start to the second half of FY2027, with EVs emerging as one of the fastest-growing segments in its portfolio.
