Max Healthcare Expands Saket Hospital To 1,200 Beds In New Delhi

Max Healthcare Institute Ltd has expanded its healthcare capacity in Delhi with the inauguration of a new 400-bed tower at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket.

The facility was inaugurated by Home Minister Amit Shah. With the expansion, Max Hospital, Saket will have approximately 1,200 beds, making it the largest private hospital in Delhi by bed capacity.

Expansion strengthens specialised care

The expanded hospital offers tertiary and quaternary healthcare services across more than 22 specialties.

The expansion is aimed at improving access to advanced and specialised medical care in the National Capital.

Max Saket is a key part of Max Healthcare’s integrated healthcare and medical education ecosystem. The organisation has a workforce of more than 42,000 employees.

Technology supports precision care

The new facility has been equipped with advanced medical technologies for specialised procedures.

These include the Da Vinci Xi Surgical Robot and Mako Total Knee Replacement Robot. The technologies support precision-driven and minimally invasive procedures across specialties.

Healthcare access remains a focus

Max Healthcare said it is also focused on improving access to healthcare beyond its hospital network.

Last year, the company provided free treatment worth ₹244 crore to 3.60 lakh patients as part of its commitment to accessible healthcare.

Through the Max Institute of Medical Sciences, the organisation has also supported 1.62 lakh students through higher education, training and professional learning programmes.
