Citroen India has expanded its product portfolio with new variants of the AircrossX and BasaltX, offering customers additional features and powertrain choices, while also introducing an enhanced-range version of the e-C3X electric vehicle. Prices for new variants start at ₹9.99 lakh.
The portfolio expansion comes ahead of the festive season, as Citroën seeks to offer customers a wider choice across performance, comfort, family-oriented mobility and electric driving.
The new AircrossX and BasaltX variants, along with the e-C3X Extended, are available across the Citroën network from September 7, 2026.
New turbo and naturally aspirated variants
Citroen has introduced YOU Turbo and MAX Naturally Aspirated (NA) editions across the AircrossX and BasaltX range.
The YOU Turbo variant is aimed at customers seeking stronger performance and drivability, with the turbocharged powertrain designed to provide greater confidence during city and highway driving.
The MAX NA variants, meanwhile, combine Citroën’s higher-end comfort and convenience features with the simplicity of a naturally aspirated petrol powertrain.
The company said the new variants have been developed around specific customer requirements, including enhanced performance, family versatility and a richer comfort experience.
e-C3X gets 330-km range
Citroën has also strengthened its electric vehicle portfolio with the ë-C3X Extended, which now offers a driving range of 330 km, certified under MIDC-I/II testing.
The enhanced range has been achieved through improvements aimed at increasing vehicle efficiency and optimising energy usage.
The higher range is intended to address one of the key concerns among potential EV buyers—range confidence—while the vehicle is also offered under Citroën’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) pricing model.
The company said the combination of enhanced range and BaaS pricing makes the ë-C3X Extended a competitive offering in its segment.
Finance scheme to lower initial EMI
To make the new models more accessible during the festive season, Citroen is offering a special step-up finance scheme with a maximum loan tenure of up to seven years.
Under the scheme, the EMI outflow during the first four years is lower compared with a regular loan EMI.
The EMI for the BasaltX range starts at ₹9,999 for the first year, while the AircrossX range starts at ₹10,555 for the first year of the loan tenure.
Focus on wider customer choice
Stellantis India Business Head & Director, Automotive Brands, Kumar Priyesh said Citroen was continuously listening to customers and evolving its products around their lifestyles and mobility requirements.
“With the introduction of the new AircrossX and BasaltX editions, along with ë-C3X Enhanced, we are expanding customer choice across performance, comfort, and electric mobility,” Priyesh said.
He said the festive season provides an opportunity for customers to make new purchases and that the expanded portfolio is designed to cater to different requirements, ranging from spacious family SUVs and premium comfort to turbocharged performance and electric mobility.
The company said the latest additions reinforce its focus on accessible, practical and customer-centric mobility solutions for Indian consumers.
