Suzlon Energy has secured its maiden 200 MW wind energy order from Ayana Renewable Power, marking another significant win for the renewable energy company and taking its flagship S144 wind turbine platform past the 10 GW cumulative sales milestone.
The project, Ayana Renewable Power’s maiden wind project in Madhya Pradesh, will be executed at Limbawas in the state. Suzlon will install 64 S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW.
S144 crosses 10 GW milestone
The order marks a new milestone for Suzlon’s flagship 3.x MW S144 platform, which has now crossed 10 GW in cumulative orders. The company said the project also represents its third DevCo-led wind order across Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.
Suzlon will execute the project through its comprehensive engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) offering. The scope will include turbine supply, land acquisition, balance of plant (BoP), pooling substation (PSS), extra high voltage (EHV) line, commissioning, and operations and maintenance services.
The power generated by the project will be connected to the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPCL) state grid.
Madhya Pradesh emerges as wind opportunity
Suzlon Group Vice Chairman and Co-Founder Girish Tanti said Ayana Renewable Power has built a 5.5 GW renewable energy portfolio spanning wind, solar and round-the-clock renewable power.
“We are pleased to partner with Ayana as it strengthens its wind portfolio and expands into Madhya Pradesh,” Tanti said.
He noted that Madhya Pradesh has more than 55 GW of wind potential at 150 metres, positioning the state to play a key role in the next phase of India’s wind energy growth.
According to Tanti, Suzlon has won two consecutive wind orders from Madhya Pradesh, reflecting the growing momentum and opportunity in the state.
Integrated model drives new orders
Suzlon Group Chief Executive Officer Ajay Kapur said the company’s end-to-end capabilities are enabling it to develop and execute wind projects efficiently while creating new business opportunities.
“We are already seeing the results of our integrated approach to developing renewable energy assets, with four wind orders secured across two states in a short span of time,” Kapur said.
Ayana expands into wind energy
For Ayana Renewable Power, the project marks its entry into wind energy in Madhya Pradesh.

Suzlon expands renewable energy footprint
Suzlon reported revenues of $1.75 billion-plus in FY26 and a market capitalisation of $8 billion-plus as of June 30, 2026.
The company has installed around 22 GW-plus of wind energy capacity across 17 countries and operates across renewable energy technology, renewable energy development, renewable energy projects and renewable energy asset management.
Its product portfolio includes 2.x MW, 3.x MW, 5.x MW and 6.x MW wind turbine systems, alongside integrated renewable energy solutions.
