Flying Flea, the urban electric mobility brand from Royal Enfield, has expanded into Europe and the UK with the launch of its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6 (FF.C6).
The electric motorcycle will be available through Flying Flea stores in Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Berlin and London, with deliveries scheduled to begin by October 2026. It is priced at €5,990 across Europe and £5,300 in the UK.
City-by-city rollout
The launch follows Flying Flea’s city-by-city expansion strategy, with Bengaluru being the first market globally, followed by Paris as the first European city.
Royal Enfield, Managing Director – Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer, B. Govindarajan, said the company’s entry into electric mobility through Flying Flea reflects its long-term intent to create a new category of electric mobility.
“Our foray into electric mobility through the differentiated Flying Flea brand reflects our long-term intent to build a new category of electric mobility,” he said.
According to Govindarajan, early riders of the FF.C6 have already clocked more than 100,000 customer-ridden kilometres in three months since its Bengaluru launch. The European and UK rollout will be phased, with Royal Enfield prioritising sales, service and infrastructure to support the ownership experience.
Heritage meets modern EV technology
Inspired by the original Flying Flea motorcycles of the 1940s, the FF.C6 combines its wartime heritage with lightweight forged-aluminium architecture and modern electric vehicle technology.
The motorcycle uses Fleaware OS, Royal Enfield’s proprietary adaptation of Android Automotive OS, along with the Flying Flea mobile app. The system is designed to learn from rider behaviour and provide a more personalised experience, while over-the-air updates allow features to evolve over time.
The FF.C6 also features a rotary ride-mode switch, joystick-controlled TFT interface, cruise control, voice assistance and a programmable button. Riders can select Rapid, Standard or Trickle charging modes depending on their usage.
104-km range and 115-km top speed
The FF.C6 has a WMTC range of 104 km and a top speed of 115 km/h, with maximum motor torque of 60 Nm. It is powered by a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery housed in a lightweight magnesium-alloy casing and uses an air-cooled ventilation system.
The motor delivers peak power of 15.4 kW at 3,500 rpm. Regenerative braking helps recover energy during deceleration, while the high-voltage architecture supports fast charging.
Using a 16 Amp wall outlet, the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just over 60 minutes, adding approximately 1 km of range per minute of charging.
The European expansion marks another step in Royal Enfield’s move into electric mobility, with Flying Flea planning further products as it builds its global EV portfolio.
