Air India Express has announced a 10% discount on domestic flights for students booking value fares, as the airline rolls out additional travel benefits ahead of the festive season.
The offer is available across all booking channels and is valid until October 20, 2026. Students can avail themselves of the discount on domestic value fares while also benefiting from an enhanced baggage allowance.
Students get 25 kg baggage allowance
Under the offer, students travelling on domestic value fares will receive a total baggage allowance of 25 kg, comprising the standard 15 kg allowance and an additional 10 kg.
Students booking directly through the Air India Express website or mobile app can also change their travel date for ₹99.
To avail of the student benefits, travellers must be at least 12 years old and carry a valid student photo ID issued by a recognised educational institution.
The ID must include the student’s name and date of birth and will have to be presented at the airport check-in counter for verification.
Additional discounts on direct bookings
Students can further save 5% on domestic and international flights booked directly through the Air India Express website or mobile app by using the code VIBES.
The airline is also offering discounts to guests using Visa debit or credit cards. Customers can get up to ₹600 off on domestic and international flights with the code VISAFLY, with the offer valid until October 9, 2026.
The student offer combines fare savings with additional baggage, low-cost date changes and direct-booking discounts, providing students with more flexibility while planning festive-season travel.
