Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd’s material subsidiary, Fleur Hotels Ltd, has acquired a land parcel in Bandra (East), Mumbai, to develop a 172-key hotel under the Lemon Tree Premier brand.
The upscale full-service property will cater to business travellers, MICE, leisure and social segments, strengthening the group’s presence in one of India’s key commercial and hospitality markets.
New property to strengthen Mumbai presence
Located along the Western Express Highway and adjoining Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), the upcoming hotel will be the group’s seventh property in Mumbai.
The development will extend Lemon Tree Hotels’ presence across key micro-markets in the city and strengthen its footprint in Mumbai’s business and hospitality corridors.
First Lemon Tree Premier development in Bandra
“Expanding to seven properties in the city, with our first development in Bandra, aligns directly with our strategy of building cluster-level market density,” Managing Director, Neelendra Singh, said.
The upcoming hotel will bridge crucial business corridors like BKC and the vibrant social hub of Bandra. This strategic land acquisition reflects our deliberate focus on securing high-impact urban sites and expanding our premium footprint in top-tier markets,” she said.
The company said the acquisition reflects its strategy of securing strategically located urban sites and expanding its premium hotel portfolio in key markets.
Hotel to serve diverse demand segments
The property’s location is expected to position it to serve business travellers and MICE demand from BKC, while also catering to leisure and social segments in Bandra.
The development will further consolidate Lemon Tree Hotels’ presence in Mumbai as the group expands its portfolio across important commercial and hospitality markets.
