NESO Brands Pte Ltd, Singapore, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lenskart Solutions Ltd, has acquired an additional 2.52% stake in French eyewear brand Le Petit Lunetier Paris SAS (LPL) through a primary subscription.

The investment amounted to €0.248 million, or approximately ₹2.71 crore, and was completed on September 23, 2026. The transaction constitutes a related-party transaction.

Stake rises to 34.34%

LPL is an existing associate of NESO and an indirect associate of Lenskart. The latest investment follows NESO’s acquisition of an additional 2.77% stake in LPL for €0.25 million, or approximately ₹2.77 crore, on April 30, 2026.

Following the two acquisitions, NESO’s shareholding in LPL has increased from 29.05% to 34.34% of its fully diluted share capital. The aggregate increase of 5.30% represents an investment of approximately ₹5.48 crore.

Investment supports brand portfolio strategy

Lenskart said the investment is part of its brand portfolio strategy, under which it selectively invests in or acquires eyewear brands to introduce and scale their products through its own omnichannel retail network.

The strategy has also been used for brands such as Owndays. The investment in LPL is intended to strengthen Lenskart’s interest in the Le Petit Lunetier brand and support its distribution through the company’s stores and digital platforms.

LPL to continue European operations

The investment will support the distribution of the Le Petit Lunetier brand across Lenskart’s existing markets, while LPL will continue to independently operate its existing wholesale and retail business in Europe.

Lenskart said the transaction is not intended to expand its presence in, or operations within, LPL’s existing European wholesale and retail business.
