Philippine Airlines (PAL) plans to expand its India operations with nonstop flights connecting Delhi and Mumbai with Manila from December 2026, subject to Indian government approval.
The airline will operate three weekly flights between Delhi and Manila and four weekly flights on the Mumbai-Manila route. The new services will provide direct connectivity to the Philippines and onward connections through PAL’s Manila hub to Southeast Asia, North Asia, North America and Australia.

Airbus A321neo operations
PAL will deploy its 168-seat Airbus A321neo on both routes. The aircraft features 12 lie-flat Business Class seats and 156 Economy Class seats.
The full-service offering will include Indian-inspired inflight meals, including vegetarian and Jain options, along with beverages, entertainment and services tailored to Indian travellers.
PAL President Richard Nuttall said the airline looks forward to welcoming more Indian travellers and offering them access to the Philippines and PAL’s wider international network through Manila.
Wider network and cargo opportunities
Through Manila, passengers from Delhi and Mumbai will be able to connect to Philippine destinations including Cebu, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo and Davao. International connections will include Los Angeles, Vancouver, Honolulu, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Tokyo Haneda and Hong Kong.
The new services will also increase cargo connectivity, enabling shipments from India to move through Manila to PAL’s wider domestic and international cargo network.
Indian nationals travelling to the Philippines for tourism or business may enter the country visa-free for up to 14 days, subject to applicable entry requirements.
Founded in 1941, Philippine Airlines is the Philippines’ flag carrier and Asia’s first commercial airline. It operates from hubs in Manila and Cebu, serving 29 destinations in the Philippines and 40 international destinations across Asia, North America, Australia and the Middle East.
