Global payroll software provider Ramco Systems has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Ramco Systems FZ-LLC, has partnered with South African technology group Altron to offer Ramco Payce to enterprise customers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Under the partnership, Altron will manage implementation, front-line support and commercial terms, while Ramco will provide the payroll software, secure cloud hosting and advanced technical support.
The partnership is aimed at providing enterprises with a streamlined engagement model, faster local support and enterprise-grade payroll technology. It will also offer data residency options in Saudi Arabia to support local compliance requirements.
Focus on Gulf payroll compliance
Altron operates in the UAE and Saudi Arabia through Altron Middle East Technologies LLC and Altron Alarabia Company Ltd.
Altron Middle East and Altron Alarabia, Managing Director, Craig Cocker said payroll requires accuracy and compliance in every cycle, particularly with requirements such as the Wage Protection System (WPS) in the UAE and GOSI and Mudad in Saudi Arabia.
He said Altron already supports enterprises across the region in areas including workforce scheduling, attendance, leave and labour costs, and the addition of Ramco Payce will extend those capabilities into payroll.
Cocker said the partnership will give customers a local partner with teams in Dubai and Riyadh, along with Saudi data residency for enterprises that require it.
Ramco expands regional reach
Ramco Systems, Chief Executive Officer, Sandesh Bilagi said accurate payroll is fundamental to the trust between organisations and their employees.
He said Ramco combines its payroll technology with partners that have close relationships with customers, adding that Altron brings local responsiveness to enterprises across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Ramco Systems, Executive VP and SBU Head – Global Payroll & HR, Rohit Mathur said payroll regulations across the Gulf continue to evolve and changes need to be incorporated into payroll cycles rather than treated as separate IT projects.
He said Ramco Payce, combined with Altron’s local expertise, can help companies in the UAE and Saudi Arabia manage changing payroll requirements.
Ramco Payce covers 150 countries
Ramco Payce is used by 500 customers globally and provides payroll coverage across 150 countries. The platform integrates with leading HCM providers and can be deployed as a platform or managed service.
The solution includes features such as self-service reporting, an actionable payroll workspace and a quick implementation toolkit.
Ramco said it uses robotic process automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning to support a touchless payroll experience and faster payroll processing.
The partnership strengthens Ramco’s presence in the Gulf while combining its global payroll technology with Altron’s regional implementation and support capabilities.
