Kalyan Jewellers Q2 Revenue Growth Tops 26% As India Sales Rise 27%

CW Bureau ·

Kalyan Jewellers India Ltd is set to report consolidated revenue growth of more than 26% year-on-year in Q2 FY2027, with its India operations registering approximately 27% growth during the quarter, supported by strong operating momentum and same-store sales growth across key markets.

The jewellery retailer recorded same-store sales growth of approximately 20% during the recently concluded quarter, despite a high base in the year-ago period as all nine days of Navratri fell within Q2 FY2026.

The company said the strong performance was driven by healthy operating momentum across its India markets.

India operations drive growth
Kalyan Jewellers’ India operations recorded approximately 27% revenue growth in Q2 FY2027 compared with Q2 FY2026.

The company said the growth came despite the high base created by the strong Navratri sales in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company launched its first regional brand, Akshaya Thanga Maligai (ATM), in Chennai in August. It said the brand has received an encouraging response, with strong revenue traction during its first more than 40 days of operations.

Kalyan Jewellers plans to open four more ATM showrooms under the franchised model during FY2027, with two planned for Q3 and two for Q4.

International revenue rises 18%
The company’s international operations recorded approximately 18% revenue growth in Q2 FY2027 compared with the year-ago quarter.

Within the Middle East, revenue grew approximately 12%, with the growth entirely driven by same-store sales growth.

International markets contributed approximately 11% of consolidated revenue during the quarter.

Candere revenue jumps 64%
Kalyan Jewellers’ lifestyle jewellery brand Candere recorded approximately 64% revenue growth during Q2 FY2027 compared with the same period last year.

During the quarter, the company added 12 Kalyan showrooms in India, taking the net addition to 11, along with nine Candere showrooms in India and one Kalyan showroom in the UK.

As of September 30, 2026, Kalyan Jewellers had 546 showrooms across India and international markets.

The network comprised 365 Kalyan India showrooms, 38 Kalyan Middle East showrooms, two Kalyan USA showrooms, two Kalyan UK showrooms and 138 Candere showrooms.

Non-core asset sale and debt reduction
The company also completed the sale of one of two identified non-core real estate parcels held for sale during the quarter. The transaction had a value of approximately ₹86 crore.

It expects to complete the sale of the second identified parcel, valued at approximately ₹16 crore, during the ongoing quarter.

The quarter also saw the company’s non-GML debt decline to zero, marking a further improvement in its balance sheet position.

Festive and wedding season in focus
Kalyan Jewellers said it is upbeat about the upcoming festive and wedding season across India and is prepared with fresh collections, marketing campaigns and new showroom launches.

The company expects its expanded showroom network, new regional brand initiatives and continued same-store sales momentum to support growth as the key festive and wedding buying period gets underway.
