Eveready Industries India Ltd, a consumer products company known for its portable power and household products, has entered the mosquito protection category with the launch of Eveready ULTIMA Liquid Vaporiser, which it describes as India’s first portable liquid vaporiser.
The launch is part of Eveready’s strategy to diversify into relevant consumer categories by leveraging its expertise in portable power and addressing changing everyday needs.
Portable format targets flexible use
The Indian household insecticide market is valued at more than ₹5,000 crore, with liquid vaporisers accounting for about ₹2,800 crore and witnessing healthy growth.
The portable vaporiser can be carried across bedrooms, children’s play areas, balconies, bathrooms and other spaces without convenient access to a plug point. It can also be used in cars and other enclosed travel spaces.
Battery backup supports protection during outages
Eveready ULTIMA is designed to operate without being plugged into a power source and provides up to three hours of battery backup.
The rechargeable format is intended to maintain mosquito protection during power outages and other situations where access to electricity is limited.

Product range available across channels
The vaporiser uses an advanced Japanese formula and is positioned to provide protection from mosquitoes that can transmit dengue, chikungunya and malaria. It features Type-C charging and is available across e-commerce, modern trade and general trade channels.
The Eveready ULTIMA Portable Liquid Vaporiser is priced at ₹299. The range also includes a plug-in liquid vaporiser and refills in packs of two, four and six.
