HCLTech has rolled out 20 purpose-built Industry AI Solutions (IAIS), strengthening its focus on developing differentiated intellectual property (IP) in advanced artificial intelligence and helping enterprises move from AI experimentation to scaled adoption.
The solutions combine HCLTech’s domain expertise with AI capabilities and are designed for high-value applications across banking, healthcare and life sciences, aerospace, retail, telecom, mobility, energy and manufacturing.
A dedicated global team of engineers and domain experts has developed the solutions in-house. Several of the offerings have already been deployed at scale across client operations globally, while others are progressing through early-stage deployments.
AI solutions target measurable business outcomes
The portfolio is focused on translating AI deployment into measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency and business performance.
In manufacturing and logistics, HCLTech’s VisionX computer-vision AI platform has improved response times by more than 90% and reduced operational costs by 70% across factory and warehouse environments.
Its SmartTwin solution enables manufacturers to simulate products and plants before physical deployment. The platform can help deliver up to 44% faster time-to-market for new products.
In healthcare and life sciences, HCLTech’s Intelligent Regulatory Platform provides regulatory intelligence, while its Intelligent Safety Platform has reduced pharmacovigilance case-processing time by 40-50%.
AI expands into finance and procurement
HCLTech is also applying AI to finance and procurement operations through its Autonomous Accounts Payable platform, an AI-led invoice management solution.
The platform is live at a major global motorbike and tools manufacturer and has reduced invoice-processing cycle time by 60%, according to the company.
The range of applications reflects HCLTech’s strategy of developing repeatable AI solutions that can be adapted across enterprises while retaining industry-specific capabilities.
Industry-specific AI becomes a priority
“AI has a potential to transform the very heart of business value chains but realising that potential requires deep domain specificity and the ability to scale. Our Industry AI solutions bridge this gap by translating domain expertise into scalable AI intelligence, accelerating value stream innovation and helping enterprises navigate rapid technological change with greater agility, and measurable outcomes,” said HCLTech, Global Head – Industry AI Solutions, Dr. Gaurav Dhakar.
HCLTech plans to expand its portfolio of repeatable Industry AI Solutions as enterprises increasingly shift from experimenting with AI to deploying it at scale.
The company said the next phase of its Industry AI strategy will focus on developing solutions that can unlock productivity, operational efficiency, innovation and growth across sectors.
