MINI India has opened pre-launch bookings for the MINI Cooper Oxford Edition, a limited-edition version of the MINI Cooper 3-door that celebrates the brand’s British heritage with distinctive Union Jack-inspired design elements.
The special edition will be available in limited quantities in India, with customers able to register their interest through authorised MINI dealerships.
Celebrating MINI’s Oxford heritage
The MINI Cooper Oxford Edition draws inspiration from Oxford in the UK, a city closely associated with the brand’s history. The classic Mini was first produced in Oxford in 1959, while BMW Group has manufactured the modern MINI at the same site since 2001.
The latest special edition incorporates the iconic Union Jack into a range of exterior and interior design details, giving the MINI Cooper 3-door a more distinctive British character.
MINI said the edition is designed to accentuate the recognisable character of the Cooper while adding a playful interpretation of its British roots.
