Namra Jewels Private Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mini Diamonds (India) Ltd, is planning to launch a collection of gold and silver idols weighing between 20 and 100 grams to mark Dussehra.
The launch marks the company’s entry into the precious metal idol segment, expanding its product portfolio beyond conventional jewellery collections.
Collection targets festive demand
Gold and silver have traditionally held an important place in Indian households, particularly during religious ceremonies, festivals and auspicious occasions.
With the new collection, Namra Jewels aims to cater to customers seeking precious metal products for personal worship, festive purchases and gifting. The idols will combine traditional significance with contemporary craftsmanship.
Company seeks to diversify offerings
The introduction forms part of Namra Jewels’ broader strategy to diversify its product range and reach additional consumer segments.
By expanding into traditional and occasion-based products, the brand aims to strengthen its presence in the festive market and create further opportunities for customer engagement and retail growth.
Focus on devotional and gifting products
“Precious metals have always been closely associated with Indian traditions, particularly during festivals and auspicious occasions. With the introduction of our gold and silver idol collection, we aim to bring together this cultural significance with quality craftsmanship,” Mini Diamonds (India) Ltd, management, said.
“We see meaningful opportunities in expanding beyond conventional jewellery into products that serve both devotional and gifting purposes. This initiative is another step towards building Namra Jewels into a diversified precious metal retail brand with a wider range of offerings for Indian consumers,” it said.
The launch expands the brand’s presence in the precious metals market by combining traditional consumer preferences with products designed for worship and gifting.
