Jawa Yezdi Eyes 700 Touchpoints By FY28 To Boost Ownership Experience

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles is strengthening its dealership network, spare-parts availability, product quality and after-sales service as it seeks to build rider confidence and sustain the revival of its iconic motorcycle brands.

The company is moving towards the 500-dealership milestone in 2026 and plans to expand its network to more than 700 touchpoints across India by FY28. The expansion is aimed at improving accessibility for customers, including those in emerging markets, while bringing the brands closer to riding communities.

For motorcycle buyers, a wider network can mean easier access not only to sales outlets but also to maintenance, repairs and technical support. The company is increasingly positioning the ownership experience as a key element of its growth strategy.

Spare-parts availability gains importance
Alongside network expansion, Jawa Yezdi is strengthening its spare-parts ecosystem to reduce waiting times for repairs and maintenance. Its authorised service network provides access to genuine parts and consumables.

Initiatives such as the nationwide Legends’ Care Camp have also helped bring service, maintenance and parts support closer to riders.

Spare-parts availability is a critical factor in motorcycle ownership, as delays in sourcing components can keep vehicles off the road for extended periods. Improving access to genuine parts can help make routine repairs more convenient and predictable.

Focus on product refinement
The latest generations of Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles reflect the company’s continued focus on engineering improvements, refinement, fit and finish.

Assessments of newer models have pointed to improvements in build quality, panel fit and paint quality compared with earlier generations. Revised components and engineering updates are part of the company’s effort to improve the overall ownership experience.

The approach also reflects the importance of incorporating customer feedback into product development beyond the initial launch of a motorcycle.

Warranty and service support
Jawa Yezdi’s ownership proposition extends to warranty coverage, annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), roadside assistance and an expanding authorised service network.

New motorcycles come with a standard warranty of four years or 50,000 km, while additional ownership programmes offer extended coverage, AMC options and roadside assistance.

The emphasis on these services reflects a broader effort to make after-sales support an integral part of motorcycle ownership rather than a facility customers access only when problems arise.

Building confidence beyond the showroom
Classic Legends Co-founder Anupam Thareja said the company had focused on strengthening multiple aspects of ownership from network expansion and service accessibility to parts availability and ownership assurance programmes.

“We have always believed that owning a motorcycle should be as rewarding as riding one. Over the last few years, we have focused on strengthening every aspect of that experience, from expanding our network and improving service accessibility to enhancing parts availability and introducing industry-leading ownership assurance programmes. Our commitment is simple: to ensure that every rider experiences the confidence, dependability and peace of mind that should come with owning a Jawa, Yezdi or BSA motorcycle,” he said.

For Jawa Yezdi, the challenge extends beyond reviving the appeal of established motorcycle marques. Sustaining customer confidence will depend on how consistently the company delivers on service, reliability and accessibility throughout the ownership cycle.

The planned expansion to more than 700 touchpoints by FY28, alongside improvements in product refinement and after-sales support, forms part of this effort to build a more comprehensive ownership ecosystem.
