The platform said around 40% of all moves in India take place between October and February, based on its internal booking data. The period sees higher demand from professionals relocating for jobs, families moving homes and corporate transfers.
Platform connects customers with verified movers
During peak periods, customers often have to contact multiple moving companies, wait for quotations and compare prices before finalising a service provider.
Thepackersmovers.com said its updated platform allows customers to submit relocation details once and receive quotes from three verified packers and movers within minutes.
Calculators help estimate moving costs
The platform has been helping customers with relocation services for more than 20 years and has been operating since 2006. It said the updated process is designed to reduce the time spent coordinating with individual moving companies during the festive rush.
The platform also offers a free Moving Cost Calculator and Packing Calculator to help customers estimate expenses before hiring a moving company.
Stressful relocation
The tools are designed to provide clearer estimates based on relocation requirements and help customers plan their budgets in advance.

Verification process for listed movers
The company said every mover listed on its platform undergoes a verification process covering GST registration, insurance coverage, business registration documents and valid identity proof of company owners.
