Leading real estate developer Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) has emerged as the highest bidder for a 4.95-acre residential land parcel in Sector 151, Noida, strengthening its presence in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The company acquired the land parcel for ₹331.75 crore through an e-auction conducted by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA). The successful bid has been reflected on the e-tendering portal of HDFC Bank, and NOIDA is expected to issue the allotment letter after completing the due process.
Premium housing project planned
Godrej Properties plans to develop a premium residential group housing project on the site. The proposed development is expected to generate more than ₹2,000 crore in revenue and will comprise premium apartments across multiple configurations.
The acquisition aligns with the company’s strategy of expanding its footprint in key residential markets with strong demand fundamentals.
Strategic location with strong connectivity
Located in Sector 151, the land parcel offers seamless connectivity to the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway and provides convenient access to the upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar.
The surrounding area is supported by developing social infrastructure, including planned educational institutions and healthcare facilities, making it an attractive residential destination.
Expansion drive in NCR continues
The latest acquisition comes shortly after Godrej Properties secured another significant residential land parcel in Greater Noida.
Earlier this month, the company acquired a 23.2-acre residential site in Greater Noida with an estimated revenue potential exceeding ₹7,000 crore, underscoring its aggressive expansion strategy in the NCR residential market.
