Digital lending platform Fibe has launched Credit AI Radar (CAIR), an artificial intelligence-powered credit intelligence and management platform designed to help consumers understand, monitor and improve their credit health beyond the traditional credit score.
The platform comes as formal credit adoption gathers pace in India, with digital-first lenders significantly expanding their consumer base over the past two years. Fibe said CAIR aims to make credit management more transparent by providing personalised insights, actionable recommendations and multilingual AI-powered assistance.
Beyond the credit score
Unlike conventional credit reports that provide a static score, CAIR analyses data from multiple credit bureaus alongside Fibe’s proprietary AI engine, FibeSense, to deliver a comprehensive assessment of a user’s credit profile.
The platform identifies factors influencing a customer’s creditworthiness, including repayment behaviour, credit utilisation, hard enquiries and borrowing patterns, while recommending specific actions to improve financial health.
AI chatbot simplifies credit guidance
At the heart of CAIR is Fiora, an AI chatbot that answers users’ credit-related questions in simple, conversational language.
Users can ask questions such as their six-month credit trend, repayment performance or factors affecting their credit profile and receive easy-to-understand responses supported by visual insights from their credit history.
To improve accessibility, Fiora is available in Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, enabling users across India to better understand their credit standing without financial jargon.
Personalised improvement plans
CAIR also offers goal-based credit improvement plans and score simulation tools, allowing users to assess how financial decisions may affect their credit profile before taking action.
The platform highlights areas requiring attention, such as high credit utilisation or multiple recent loan enquiries, and prioritises corrective measures to help users build healthier borrowing habits.
Fibe said all insights are generated using customer data shared with explicit consent, in line with its privacy framework.
Supporting India’s expanding credit market
India’s growing middle-income population and increasing penetration of formal credit, particularly across Tier II and Tier III cities, are creating greater demand for financial literacy and credit management tools.
Fibe believes CAIR will help both first-time borrowers and experienced credit users better understand their credit profiles and make informed borrowing decisions.
Fibe Chief Product & Analytics Officer Balakrishnan Narayanan said responsible borrowing begins with awareness, and while credit scores offer a snapshot of an individual’s financial standing, lenders assess a much broader set of parameters.
“Through CAIR, we are leveraging AI to make credit intelligence more accessible by helping users understand the factors shaping their credit profile, identify potential gaps and take actionable steps towards improving their financial health,” he said.
