Duolingo, the world’s leading mobile learning platform, has partnered with Bharti Airtel to offer 12 months of Super Duolingo at no additional cost to Airtel’s 376 million subscribers.
The partnership is aimed at making language learning more accessible to millions of Airtel customers by combining Airtel’s extensive digital customer base with Duolingo’s gamified and AI-powered learning platform.
Duolingo is the world’s most popular language learning platform, with a mission to develop the best education in the world and make it universally available. Its app offers courses in more than 40 languages, using bite-sized lessons, gamification, personalised learning and AI-powered features to make learning engaging and accessible.
Beyond languages, users can also learn chess, math and music on the platform.
Premium learning experience
Under the partnership, Airtel customers will get access to the premium, ad-free Super Duolingo experience, which includes unlimited energy, AI-powered real-time speaking practice, personalised exercises and mistakes review.
The offering is designed to help users build language skills while developing consistent learning habits through short and engaging lessons.
Expanding access to digital learning
Language skills are increasingly becoming an important gateway to education, careers and global opportunities. The partnership enables Airtel to expand its digital services portfolio while offering customers access to a global learning platform.
For Duolingo, the tie-up provides an opportunity to take its language-learning offering to a significantly wider audience in India through Airtel’s large subscriber base.
Available across Airtel services
The Super Duolingo subscription will be available to Airtel customers across mobile, Wi-Fi and DTH services.
Customers can access the offer through the Airtel App, with no credit card required, making activation and access to the 12-month subscription simple.
The partnership reflects the growing convergence of telecom and digital services, as operators increasingly look beyond connectivity to offer differentiated digital experiences and value-added services to customers.
